The California Black Women's Health Project is the only statewide nonprofit solely committed to improving the health of California's Black women and girls through advocacy, education, outreach, and policy.

CABWHP addresses Black women's health through its Black Women's Health Initiative, covering reproductive health, domestic and family violence prevention, maternal and infant health, aging, and mental health. Established in 1994 and based in Inglewood since 2000, the organization is an affiliate of the national Black Women's Health Imperative and provides advocacy, health education, and volunteer opportunities across Los Angeles County and California.
