Vive Substance Use Recovery Centers

VIVE empowers individuals and communities through compassionate, prevention-focused education that builds awareness, supports informed decisions, and strengthens long-term stability around alcohol and opiate use disorder.

VIVE Substance Use Recovery Centers (VSURC) is a Monterey Park-based 501(c)(3) providing prevention- and education-based programming for individuals, workplaces, schools, and communities across Los Angeles County. Rather than clinical treatment, VIVE focuses on timely, empathic access to information about medication, counseling, and positive-reinforcement tools for relapse prevention, along with school and community workshops and nutrition education. The population it serves is predominantly middle-aged (26-54), about half Latinx, majority male, and nearly two-thirds unemployed.
