To provide a safe, nurturing environment with proven programs in arts, education, and wellness for the young people of South Central Los Angeles to help them improve their economic conditions and develop healthy, fulfilling, and purposeful lives.

Founded in 1993 after the LA civil unrest, A Place Called Home (APCH) is a youth and community center in South Central Los Angeles serving members from elementary age into their mid-twenties. It offers free year-round programs in educational support, arts and creative expression, athletics, nutrition and urban agriculture, mental health counseling, mentoring, scholarships, and employment pathways.
