A leader in creativity and mental wellness, AWBW supports direct service organizations across the country to incorporate creative expression into their work with trauma survivors.
Founded in 1991, A Window Between Worlds uses art as a healing tool to empower survivors of violence and trauma, including domestic violence survivors, through its flagship Windows Program. The organization trains staff at partner agencies nationwide to facilitate trauma-informed art workshops, building a network of over 1,200 active facilitators who reach tens of thousands of survivors each year.
