We help people Learn, Thrive, Work, Play, Belong, and Grow -- building resilience and unlocking potential for children, teens, and adults with autism, learning differences, ADHD, and other developmental and emotional challenges.

Operating since 1977 under the legal name New School for Child Development, this organization runs nine state-certified nonpublic day schools (including Village Glen) as part of The Help Group, serving children through young adults with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and emotional/behavioral challenges. The Help Group also provides mental health therapy, vocational training, arts and recreation programs, and supportive residential living, serving roughly 25,000 individuals annually across multiple Los Angeles-area sites.
