Our mission is to empower youth, strengthen families, and build thriving communities.

Founded 125 years ago as a residential home for orphaned children, McKinley Children's Center is a San Dimas-based nonprofit providing trauma-informed care, education, mental health, and family services across Southern California to children who have experienced abuse, abandonment, neglect, or other trauma. Programs include short-term residential therapeutic programs, an unaccompanied children's shelter, educational services through Canyon View and Desert View Schools, and community family resource centers.
