Formed in 1889 in Pomona as a volunteer charitable organization, Family Service of Pomona Valley became a professional counseling agency and Charter member of the Community Chest in 1959.
Family Service of Pomona Valley's Counseling Services help people of all ages deal more effectively with depression, addiction and substance abuse, stress, self-esteem issues, grief, mental and emotional health concerns, and relational problems. Services are targeted to -- but not restricted to -- residents of Pomona, Claremont, Diamond Bar, La Verne, Phillips Ranch, and San Dimas.
