Black Women For Wellness

Black Women for Wellness is committed to the health and well-being of Black women and girls through health education, empowerment, and advocacy, building healthy communities across Los Angeles and California.

BWW is a multi-generational, membership-based organization advancing the health of Black women and girls through six core initiatives: Sisters@Eight professional roundtables, Sisters in Control (reproductive justice and maternal health), Sisters in Motion (chronic disease prevention and wellness), Environmental Justice (chemical safety and anti-drilling advocacy), Civic Engagement (voter education/registration), and an annual Reproductive Justice Conference. Programs emphasize health education, empowerment, and policy advocacy for Black women and girls in South LA and beyond.
