To improve the quality of life for the residents of Watts and neighboring communities through social services, housing, and the arts.

WLCAC is a Los Angeles nonprofit founded in 1965 in the wake of the Watts riots. It operates 'The Center,' a seven-acre hub in Watts, providing family stability support, employment services, housing and homelessness prevention, senior services, youth development, cultural enrichment, and MudTown Farms, which trains Watts residents in urban farming for sustainable careers.
