Watts Community Development Corporation, established in 2017, serves South Los Angeles and the city of Watts, addressing crime, violence, homelessness, joblessness, hunger, chronic incarceration, and extreme poverty. Services include employment/job-retention services and career advocacy, help removing legal/administrative barriers (tickets, court judgments, child support issues), life-management and financial literacy programs, a weekly food bank, after-school and art programs for youth, and general community advocacy. Site signage indicates staff speak both English and Spanish.
