Venice Community Housing (VCH), founded in 1988, owns and operates 330 units of affordable and supportive housing across 18 properties in Venice and Mar Vista, serving 570+ residents with a 99% housing stability rate. VCH provides trauma-informed resident services supporting housing retention, health, and education, plus an additional 380+ homes in its development pipeline. Its youth division, Westside Youth Academy, offers after-school programming, GED/diploma support, job readiness training, and academic summer camps for youth ages 6-24, alongside policy advocacy for systemic housing change.
