To help end the cycle of homelessness by walking alongside individuals and families on their journey home — offering compassionate care, emergency services, transformational programs, education and job training, and the support needed to achieve lasting stability.

Union Rescue Mission, established in 1891, is a Christian nonprofit serving people experiencing homelessness on Los Angeles's Skid Row and one of the largest private homeless shelters in the country. It provides emergency services, recovery and transitional programs, education and job training, and support services across locations including its Downtown Ministry, Hope Gardens Family Center, and Angeles House, and it also operates thrift stores.
