The People Concern

The People Concern believes no one should have to live on the street or in a violent household; staff, volunteers, and those served work together to address the effects of homelessness, poverty, mental and physical illness, abuse and addiction.

The People Concern provides street outreach, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing for people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County, primarily in West LA and Metro/South Los Angeles. It offers integrated mental health and physical health care and harm reduction services. Its Sojourn program serves survivors of domestic violence with shelter, case management, legal aid, support groups, and a hotline.
