South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB) serves 11 cities in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, providing workforce planning to keep people employed and help businesses thrive. Services include individual employment and career services, business recruitment and hiring assistance, homeless services, veterans support programs, youth employment programs for ages 14-24, the YouthBuild alternative education program for ages 16-24, sector-specific training (Aero-Flex, Bio-Flex, Health-Flex, manufacturing), a resume portal and job board, workshops, training resources, and rapid response services for layoffs.
