Refresh Youth Center (dba California Youth Services) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009 serving roughly 500 underprivileged students per year in the Long Beach/Lakewood area. Programs include a youth mentorship curriculum, cooking classes, a Girls Book Club based on Sean Covey's 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens,' 'Shady Lashes' entrepreneurship classes, a high school internship program, and community engagement events.
