Providing quality, affordable arts education to Los Angeles students since 1970, through the School of Performing and Visual Arts.
Plaza de la Raza's School of Performing and Visual Arts offers after-school and intergenerational classes in visual art, dance, music, and theatre to nearly 5,000 children, teens, and adults each year, ranging from beginner to conservatory level. Free classes are available for qualifying low-income families. The organization is rooted in and celebrates Latino arts and culture in the Eastside Los Angeles community.
