Operating as the City of Long Beach's public workforce development system (formerly Pacific Gateway Workforce Investment Network, now LBWIN), the organization runs Adult and Youth Career Services Centers offering career guidance, training scholarships, job search assistance, resume writing and interview preparation, occupational and industry information, workshops, and referrals to support services, funded through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
