Long Beach Beekeepers is a beekeeping club that holds monthly meetings with guest speakers (first Sunday of each month) and offers beginner classes such as Beekeeping 101 and Apicultura 101, taught in Spanish. It does community outreach with observation hives at schools, neighborhood associations, street fairs, and Earth Day events, and has a First Fridays Volunteer Hub. The club does not remove swarms but refers people to reputable beekeepers.
