Help For Refugees

Christian missionary organization providing humanitarian and spiritual aid to persecuted Christians and refugees from present and former communist countries, continuing the ministry started by pastor Richard Wurmbrand.

Help For Refugees, Inc. supports elderly Christians who endured communist-era imprisonment, operates the Agape Orphanage in Pascani, Romania (founded 1993), and runs the Richard Wurmbrand High School in Iasi, Romania for disadvantaged children. The organization also provides direct humanitarian aid to Christian refugees displaced by the war in Ukraine and distributes Richard Wurmbrand's books and sermons. Based in Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA; its direct service work is carried out primarily overseas.
