Gather surplus produce from the trees and gardens of Orange County residents and deliver it to community kitchens and shelters for people in need, so no fresh produce goes to waste.
Grow & Share works with Orange County residents who have fruit trees and gardens producing more than they can use, and uses volunteer gleaners on weekends to pick the produce and deliver it to nonprofit partners, community kitchens and shelters that feed underserved people. Residents can register a tree or garden, volunteer, donate, or partner as a recipient organization. It collects roughly 300-600 pounds each weekend, mostly from Orange and Santa Ana.
