The Garment Worker Center organizes low-wage garment workers in Los Angeles in the fight for social and economic justice, working to end sweatshop labor and center immigrant workers and women of color and their families.

Founded in 2001. Leads worker organizing and leadership development, youth organizing programs, wage clinics to recover stolen wages, and runs the Garment Worker Staffing Cooperative. Advocates for policy change including California's SB62 Garment Worker Protection Act and the federal FABRIC Act.
