Giving Kids a Fighting Chance: reaching out to at-risk and underprivileged youth in Pomona and surrounding communities through Olympic-style boxing.
Fist of Gold Youth Center Inc. teaches the art and discipline of Olympic-style boxing to youth ages 8-18, combining physical fitness training, self-defense instruction, mentoring, and life-skills/character development, in cooperation with the City of Pomona and local groups like the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club.
