Engaging The Senses Foundation

An educationally oriented foundation supporting people in using their senses to live a consciously engaged life, focused on 'waking up' through the arts and the universal language of poetry, and using art and storytelling to advance equality, social justice, environmental awareness, and compassion.

Engaging the Senses Foundation represents four generations of women dedicated to celebrating and strengthening the power of the arts to move people from habitual, everyday reality into a state of focused attention. The foundation partners with institutions such as UC Berkeley's Arts Research Center and the Skirball Cultural Center on poetry, visual arts, and cultural programming that connects artistic expression to human consciousness, social justice, and environmental awareness.
