El Sereno Land Trust

To provide opportunities for the residents of El Sereno to secure community spaces and housing that is decent, affordable, and held in stewardship by community members on a long-term basis.

An Indigenous-led community land trust serving El Sereno/East Los Angeles, focused on removing land from speculation, preventing displacement, and enabling permanent affordable housing under community control. Acquires and stewards multi-unit and single-family homes, preserves open space, uses green/earthen construction, and runs tenant-led property management and policy advocacy programs.
