To be an inter-generational community that empowers underserved young adults ages 18-24, including those formerly in foster care, through vocational training, mentorship, and paid internships.
DSF Werks (a program of Drive Savant Foundation Inc) provides hands-on vocational training in classic car restoration and media arts -- mechanics, electrical work, auto body repair, photography, videography, and editing -- to emancipated foster youth and underserved young adults ages 18-24 in the Long Beach/Signal Hill area, helping them avoid homelessness or incarceration through apprenticeships and job skills.
