Destination Crenshaw

Destination Crenshaw is a 1.3-mile open-air museum and cultural corridor along Crenshaw Boulevard celebrating Black Los Angeles through art, design, and community, improving quality of life and revitalizing the economy in South LA through arts and culture.

Powered by the people of South Los Angeles and founded by Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson, Destination Crenshaw transforms 1.3 miles of Crenshaw Boulevard into a global landmark for Black culture, featuring over 100 works by local and internationally renowned Black artists, including Sankofa Park. Programs include the Build Back Crenshaw construction initiative (with a 70% local-hire goal), the DC Thrive small-business resiliency program, and the DC Arts Corp, the country's most extensive workforce program for Black artists.
