Rising Communities (formerly Community Health Councils) is a community-based health education and policy organization working at local, state, and national levels on policy advocacy, community organizing, and initiatives addressing health equity in South Los Angeles, including programs such as Learning 4 Equity, Best Start South LA, and Mothers Rising for Guaranteed Basic Income.
