Community Build Inc

To revitalize South Los Angeles through human investment and commercial and economic development, in response to the 1992 civil unrest that impacted the community.

Community Build Inc., founded in 1992, has served South LA youth and families for over 30 years through its Youth and Community Center. Programs include Project S.A.V.E. (Safe Passage and GRYD gang intervention/prevention for at-risk and gang-involved youth), the Women & Girls' Initiative, career development programs (Black Girls Do Engineer, Shades of Blue Aviation, Indy Work), workforce and housing development, and, more recently, wildfire relief and recovery assistance for displaced residents in Pacific Palisades and Altadena.
