When you educate a girl, you educate her entire community. The Collective Identity Mentoring creates culturally affirming, psychosocially safe spaces where Black girls and young women can explore their identities, build confidence, and become assured leaders.
A grassroots Los Angeles nonprofit founded by Black women for Black girls and young women (ages 13-25). Through a two-year, one-on-one mentoring relationship and carefully designed psychosocial programming, participants engage in identity exploration, affirmation activities, and leadership development. The organization centers Black identity as diverse and multifaceted, aiming to grow from a local Los Angeles program into a national organization reaching campuses and communities across the country.
