CASA of Los Angeles mobilizes community volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in the overburdened foster care system of Los Angeles County, envisioning an LA where every foster child has an advocate and the opportunity to thrive.

CASA of LA recruits, trains, and supports volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates who are assigned by Dependency Court judges to advocate one-on-one for foster children's best interests in court, school, and the community, helping them find safe, permanent homes and access educational, mental, and physical health services.
