Founded in 2014 by former board members and fellows of the California Latino Legislative Caucus Institute for Public Policy, the California Latino Leadership Institute (CLLI) is a statewide, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) based in Pasadena. Its flagship Southeast Youth Workforce Development and Civic Engagement Program serves young adults ages 16-18 from Southeast Los Angeles, helping close career-opportunity gaps through the SELA Youth Film Festival, SELA Youth Trade Fellows, and a Civic Engagement Academy. CLLI also runs a Central Valley Women's Summit with a Careers in Energy Initiative for high school and college women interested in STEM/energy careers.
