CABWCEI runs SheWorks (career connections/workforce development for Black women), Having Her Say (policy research), the Holly J. Mitchell Girls Empowerment Leadership Institute, a CSUDH leadership certificate program, civic engagement/policy advocacy initiatives, and the CA Black Women's Think Tank, a nonpartisan policy research initiative addressing work & family, health & wellness, employment & earnings, poverty & opportunity, education, safety, and aging for Black women, in academic partnership with CSU Dominguez Hills.
