California Academy Of Nutrition & Dietetics

A not-for-profit organization of approximately 6,500 Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs), Nutrition and Dietetics Technicians, Registered (NDTRs), and students committed to improving health and advancing the profession of dietetics through research, education, and advocacy.

The California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CAND) is the state affiliate of the national Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (eatright.org), representing dietetics professionals statewide. It provides continuing education, professional development, networking, and legislative advocacy, and is organized into local district associations (e.g., Orange County, Inland, Bay Area, Central Valley, Diablo Valley) throughout California.
