Avalon Carver works to care for the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of individuals and families through education, community outreach, and empowerment.
A historic South Los Angeles settlement house/neighborhood center operating since 1945, organized around the pillars of Community, Family, and Education. Programs include Mobile STEM Labs and STEM-Liner aviation education, prevention education, nutrition programs, and broader community outreach and family support services. The organization is currently working toward building a new campus to expand its reach.
