To stop the silent and deadly killer: raise grassroots awareness of aortic dissection, rupture and aneurysm, educate first responders, and support survivors, families and caregivers so no survivor feels alone.
Aortic Warriors is a nonprofit public benefit organization raising awareness of aortic dissection, aortic rupture and aortic aneurysm. It runs awareness campaigns such as the Aortic Dissection Awareness Ribbon and the Aortic Warriors Global Walk, aims to educate first responders on early detection and diagnosis, and aims to provide mobile echocardiogram screening for high school athletes. The site offers pages for new and seasoned survivors and caregivers, a memorial wall, videos and a shop, and the group commits to direct support for survivors, their families, caretakers and those who lost loved ones.
