Turn donated wedding dresses into angel gowns, provided at no cost to local hospitals and mortuaries, to give comfort and dignity to families who lose a baby before, during or shortly after birth.
Angel Gowns of South Bay is a San Pedro nonprofit run by volunteers who transform donated wedding dresses into angel gowns for babies who die before, during or shortly after birth. The gowns are donated free to hospitals (including UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, Pomona Valley and PIH Good Samaritan) and mortuaries across California. The group holds monthly community sewing days, accepts volunteers and dress donations, and also runs a Bullying Project with a hotline, a student-court model and out-of-school safe spaces.
