Amigos De Los Rios

Amigos de los Rios works to create the Emerald Necklace: a natural infrastructure network of green spaces, green schools, parks, and trails throughout under-served communities in the Los Angeles Basin, connecting the mountains to the sea.

Amigos de los Rios is an Altadena-based urban greening nonprofit that plants native trees and shrubs, creates sustainable open spaces and green schoolyards, and restores habitat in underserved Southern California communities, including post-fire tree-watering support in Altadena.
