United Way of Greater Los Angeles works to break cycles of poverty in L.A. County by addressing homelessness and housing, education equity, and economic mobility — creating L.A.'s future, together.

United Way of Greater Los Angeles is the largest private funder of health and human services in L.A. County. Its work focuses on homelessness and housing, supporting people experiencing housing instability and building pathways out of homelessness; education, including education-equity initiatives within LAUSD and community college access; and economic mobility through income support, workforce development, and financial assistance. It also mobilizes disaster relief for the region.
