Helps men recover from alcoholism and drug addiction through free long-term residential treatment and a recovery community built on character development and spiritual values.
Since 1974 the Beacon House Association of San Pedro has provided long-term residential treatment for men recovering from alcoholism and other drug addiction. Its social-model program offers group and individual counseling, peer support, 12-step-based recovery, therapeutic and psychiatric services, workforce development and career guidance, life skills, family reunification, legal assistance, and recreation and wellness activities. Residents can support it through donations, monthly giving, in-kind gifts and events such as the Heart of Recovery Gala.
