StudySmart Youth Services is a student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping K-8 students improve academic achievement through free tutoring and enrichment, guided by the philosophies of Connect, Contribute, and Collaborate.
Grown from the Math at the Library program founded in 2017, StudySmart Youth Services now runs four community-service programs in Irvine, CA: Girls Empowering Girls, Math Magicians (Math Olympiad training), Art for Change (art enrichment), and Boolean Bears (computer coding), alongside English-language tutoring. The organization has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, interviewed by NPR/KCRW's Greater LA, and received congressional recognition from Rep. Katie Porter's office.
