Steel Magnolias is an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization committed to raising funds to benefit children with special needs.
Long Beach-based all-volunteer nonprofit founded in 1999 that raises funds primarily for the Stramski Children's Developmental Center at MemorialCare Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach. Supports children and families affected by conditions such as autism, ADHD, Fragile X syndrome, cerebral palsy, and craniofacial abnormalities by filling gaps in services not covered by other funding sources. Has raised more than $6.7 million since founding and holds a Four-Star Charity Navigator rating.
