South County Outreach works to prevent hunger and homelessness in Orange County. Its food program distributes over 700,000 pounds of emergency, non-perishable, and fresh food annually to roughly 6,000 residents through a Lake Forest food pantry. Housing programs include rental and utility assistance, rapid re-housing, and affordable housing for homeless or at-risk households. It also offers financial literacy and professional skills education and operates an Upscale Resale thrift store.
