To improve the welfare of rabbits in and around Orange County by combating the problems that lead to rabbit homelessness, supplying information to current and prospective rabbit owners to set them up for success, and by providing medical care and rehabilitation for rabbits for whom we are their last hope.
Save SomeBunny is a foster-based rabbit rescue and sanctuary serving Orange County, giving second chances since 2014. It places adoptable rabbits through an application process, runs a sanctuary program for rabbits with lifelong medical or physical needs (blind, amputee, daily medication), and recruits foster homes for both sanctuary rabbits and rabbits awaiting spay/neuter, vaccination or shelter space. The site also offers rabbit care information (Bunny Info), news, donations and an online shop. The group has no physical facility and is not currently accepting owner relinquishments.
