Founded in 1983 in San Pedro, Rainbow Services provides trauma-informed shelter and support services to survivors of domestic violence across Los Angeles County. Services include a 24/7 crisis hotline, emergency shelter (38 beds, up to 45 days), transitional housing (40 beds, up to 12 months), scattered-site community housing rental assistance, legal advocacy (restraining orders, family court, immigration-related support), individualized case management, and children and family support. All services are free regardless of gender, documentation status, or circumstances.
