Rainbow Families Long Beach is developing a formal mission statement; its current focus is providing a space to foster support, understanding, and celebration of LGBTQ+ children, youth, and families within the Long Beach Unified School District community.
Rainbow Families Long Beach is the first LGBTQ+ community group for Long Beach Unified School District families, serving LGBTQ+ adults raising LBUSD students, adults with LGBTQ+ or questioning children in the district, and district educators/staff. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
