A 501(c)(3) nonprofit theater company dedicated to reinventing community theater in Los Angeles and beyond.
Founded in 2018, Public Assembly stages a monthly showcase of three 12-minute plays that are written, developed, and performed within the same four-week cycle. The company has no fixed venue, instead staging work in unconventional community spaces such as Masonic lodges, American Legions, and women's centers.
