Outside the Box Institute works to end loneliness and strengthen human connection — especially for Gen Z — through research, education, and experiential mental-health programs.
Outside the Box Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ending loneliness, building connection, and inspiring better mental, emotional, physical, and social health. Its flagship program, 'We Knead Connection,' uses shared baking as a community-building experience, alongside other evidence-informed mental-fitness events, research, and advocacy aimed at normalizing conversations about mental well-being and reducing stigma, particularly for Gen Z.
