LAYO ("the future of culture") is a youth orchestra organization based in Encino offering two ensembles - the LAYO Symphony Orchestra and the LAYO Ruth Borun Concert Orchestra - with instruction from professional conductors and coaches. Members perform three annual Los Angeles concerts plus a Carnegie Hall performance; auditions are held in late August.
