Little Tokyo Nutrition Services

Addresses food insecurity and social isolation among Little Tokyo's senior citizens by providing low-cost, nutritious meals and supportive services that help seniors stay connected, healthy, and part of the community, serving the area since 1976.

Little Tokyo Senior Nutrition Services serves over 100 low-cost lunches on-site five days a week (Monday-Friday, $3.50/meal, free if unable to pay) at a lunch site near Little Tokyo Towers, plus roughly 80 home-delivered meals for homebound seniors. A social service coordinator provides case management and referrals, and volunteers provide transportation to medical appointments and organize community/cultural activities.
