Labdoo's mission is to make education accessible to every child on the planet by repurposing donated computers, loading them with free educational software, and delivering them to schools and students in need through a global volunteer network.
Labdoo Inc. (headquartered in Irvine, CA) runs a global nonprofit network of volunteer 'dooers' and local hubs that collect used laptops, wipe and reload them with free educational software, and ship or hand-deliver them to schools and children in need worldwide. Since founding in 2010, Labdoo has supported over 3,000 schools and reached more than 1 million students. Residents can volunteer locally by joining or starting a Labdoo hub, donating a computer, or delivering a laptop to a school.
